In 1996 Eric came to realize that God was calling him into ministry of some kind. In 1998, he understood that calling to be with youth and young adults. Since then, God has been constructing a message in him - to reintroduce the issue of relationships and how to live a distinctive Christian life. Therefore, Eric has been traveling the country speaking to students as well as being a student pastor. He attended Southeastern Bible College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Eric knows firsthand the world of this generation and the impact it has had and having regarding relationships. He wants to help others discover the importance of living a distinctive Christian life, which includes relationships. The truth is that life is a journey and a process. In other words, the way life is now is not the way it will always be. So when the journey gets tough, and you're in the valley, and you can't believe the mistakes you have made, or you just want to quit, remind yourself that it is a process. You are not finished yet. There is grace for your journey.

What's up guys? I hope that you guys had a great weekend. Mine was, well... a ride. Saturday night a couple of friends and myself went to Six Flags here in New Orleans. We were doing good, riding Batman, another good ride, bumper cars (where we got mean looks from the workers, we were hitting the little kids in their cars), and then we rode the ride. The wooden, metal rollercoaster. Two of the guys had ridden it before and said that it was rough, but we all chose to ride it anyway. We get on, and the journey began. They slam the leg bar down which was hurting my crouch area, and we are off. 3 hours later, not really, but to long later, the ride was over. It was the jerkiest ride that we have ever been on. Doesn't end there though. Derek and I wanted to ride this other ride called the Catwoman or something like that. It was a circle with little chairs that go in circles within the big cirlce, and the chairs flip you as well. We get in and the ride started. Not to bad, but then we notice that we are not flipping, instead we are just going around in circles going 5,000 mph. When the ride was over we were sweating like we had just broken a fever and our skin was glazed over. We realized at that moment it was time to leave.
