In 1996 Eric came to realize that God was calling him into ministry of some kind. In 1998, he understood that calling to be with youth and young adults. Since then, God has been constructing a message in him - to reintroduce the issue of relationships and how to live a distinctive Christian life. Therefore, Eric has been traveling the country speaking to students as well as being a student pastor. He attended Southeastern Bible College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Eric knows firsthand the world of this generation and the impact it has had and having regarding relationships. He wants to help others discover the importance of living a distinctive Christian life, which includes relationships. The truth is that life is a journey and a process. In other words, the way life is now is not the way it will always be. So when the journey gets tough, and you're in the valley, and you can't believe the mistakes you have made, or you just want to quit, remind yourself that it is a process. You are not finished yet. There is grace for your journey.

Willis, where are you going?

Hey guys! You are right; it has been a while sense I last posted anything. I will admit I have been a little lazy.

Well, lets see:: I am still getting lost, that will never change! Still fishing. Still alive, yeah. Now to the deeper stuff.

It is amazing how I can tell someone to do something, yet I can’t seem to do it myself. I have been telling a friend of mine to simply rely upon God and run to Him through the difficult times they are going through. Yet, I look at my life and I am in what could be called difficult times, and I am not truly running to God. I find myself running to other things to fill my void. Therefore, the challenge for others and myself is to run to God.

Run to You
2002 Eric Christian, BMI

I’m hurting deep inside
There’s nothing, nothing within
I’m hollow through and through
My tears fall like rain
Father, hear my cry
I know one thing is true
You’re there to help me through
So I will…

Run to You with all my problems
You’ll be there, there for me.
I’ll pray all day long to feel Your love
Wrap me in the arms of Your tender care.

Bridge::
I lift it all to You
No more is it mine.
I trust You alone
To satisfy my needs.

It is my prayer that if you are hurting right now, there is hope and God the Father desires nothing more than for you to come and jump up in His lap and love on Him for a while.
